I still have to go through all these details.

But one thing missing from ILDC is "SERVICABILITY"

if there is a problem, then no way we can get help.

People tried sending mails/ calling them.

But no use.

Looks like they don't have resources.

Incase we do this, we need to have good forum support for the same.

I really like wordpress forums.

తెలుగు బ్లాగర్ల సమావేశం — జూలై 2006
హాజరు: భాస్కర రావు, చంద్రశేఖర్, కశ్యప్, చదువరి, వీవెన్, వెంకట రమణ,
మరియు మురళీ కృష్ణ కూనపరెడ్డి

త్రివిక్రమ్ జ్వరం కారణంగా రాలేకపోయాడు. అతను త్వరగా కోలుకోవాలని
ఆశిద్దాం. ఈసారి విశేషం: నలుగురు కొత్తవాళ్ళు! ముందు అనుకున్నట్టుగా
హంగ్రీ జాక్స్ దగ్గర కలిసాం. చదువరి, వెంకట రమణ, నేను ఒక జట్టుగా...
రావుగారు, చంద్రశేఖర్, కశ్యప్ మరో జట్టుగా వేచిచూస్తున్నాం (పక్క
పక్కనే). వీళ్ళు వాళ్ళే కావచ్చు వాళ్ళు వీళ్ళే కావచ్చు అనుకొన్నా, కశ్యప్
ఫోన్ చెయ్యడంతో అందరం ఒక జట్టయ్యాం. అక్కడినుండి వెంగళరావు నగర్ పార్కుకి
వెళ్ళి అక్కడ చర్చ మొదలెట్టాం. ఇంకొద్ది సేపటికి మురళీ కృష్ణ కూడా
చేరాడు. ఎప్పటిలాగే సమయం తెలియలేదు,రెండు గంటల కన్నా ఎక్కువసేపే
కూర్చున్నాం (పార్క్ కాపరి తాళం వేసుకోవాలి అంటున్నాకూడా ఒక్క గంటే అని
అతనికి నచ్చజెప్పి మరీ).

ఎన్నో విషయాలు మాట్లాడుకున్నాం. వాటిలో ముఖ్యమైనవీ, చేయవలసినవి ఇవీ:

1. తెలుగులో రాసే మహిళా బ్లాగర్లకు అవార్డులు (బయో సింఫనీ తరపున):
దీనిపై భాస్కరరావుగారు సవివరమైన ప్రకటన చేస్తారు. రాబోయే కాలంలో, ఈ
అవార్డుల కార్యక్రమాన్ని అన్ని తెలుగు బ్లాగులకి కూడా వర్తింపజేసే
ఉద్దేశం ఉంది.
ఈ అవార్డుల ప్రధానాన్ని, వార్తాంశంగా పత్రికల, TVల వారికి చేరవేసే బాధ్యత
కశ్యప్‌ది.

2. కంప్యూటర్‌కి తెలుగు నేర్పడం:
కంప్యూటరున్న ప్రతి తెలుగువాడూ తమ కంప్యూటర్‌లో తెలుగు చూడడం, రాయడం
చేయగలగాలి. అందుకు అనుగుణంగా కంప్యూటర్‌ని మలచడం, సాధారణ వాడకందార్లకు
కష్టం. ఈ పనిని సులభం చేయడానికి ఒక వెబ్‌పేజీనో/అప్లికేషనో తయారుచేయాలి.
దీనిపై ఒక ఆవశ్యకాల విశ్లేషణ (Requirements Analysis) పత్రం నేను
(వీవెన్) తయారుచేస్తా. ఇక అసలు ప్రోగ్రామింగ్ బాధ్యత చంద్రశేఖర్, మురళి
కృష్ణలది.

3. తెలుగు బ్లాగుల గురించి ప్రజలకు తెలియజేయడం:
"కొత్త పుంతలు తొక్కుతున్న నేటి తెలుగు బ్లాగులు" అన్న శీర్షికతో
భాస్కరరావుగారు ఒక వ్యాసం రాస్తారు. దీన్ని వెంకట రమణ సాంఖ్యీకరించి
(digitize) తెలుగుబ్లాగు సమూహానికి పోస్ట్ చేస్తాడు. సభ్యులందరూ వారి
వారి అభిప్రాయాలను, సూచనలను తెలియజేయవచ్చు. వీటన్నింటినీ సమీక్షించి ఆ
వ్యాసాన్ని పత్రికలలో ప్రచురణకి సిద్ధంచేయడంలో భాస్కరరావుగారికి, చదువరి
సహాయమందిస్తారు.

4. రాబోయే తెలుగు బ్లాగు సమావేశాలని, "నగరంలో ఈనాడు" వంటి శీర్షికలలో
చోటుచేసుకోవడానికి కశ్యప్ కృషిచేస్తాడు.

5. బ్లాగులపై బ్లాకింగ్‌ని ఎత్తివేసారు కాదా, ఆ విషయంపై ఇప్పుడు
పత్రికలకి రాయడం మనం ఆశించిన ఫలితాన్ని ఇవ్వకపోవచ్చు, కనుక ఆ
ప్రయత్నాన్ని విరమించాం.

తర్వాతి సమావేశానికల్లా ఇవన్నీ పూర్తవాలి.

హైదరాబాదులో ఉంటున్న తెలుగు బ్లాగర్లందరూ ఈ సమావేశాలకి వస్తారని ఆశిస్తున్నాం.

ముందే చదివితే మంచిది

కాకపోతే భద్రపరచుట, దాచుట రెండూ భాగానే ఉన్నాయి కదా, కనుక అంత సమస్య లేదు

ముందు మనము ఓ రౌండు అయిపోచేసి వర్షను 0.1 రిలీజు చేసి, ఇటువంటి విషయాలు అన్నీ తీరిగ్గా మాట్లాడుకోని మారుద్దాము॥ ఏమంటారు?

ఎందుకని చెపుతున్నాను అంటే ఇంత క్రితము కూడా చాలామంది ఔత్సాహకులు ఇలాగే మొదలుపెట్టి ఏమి వ్రాయాలి ఏమి వ్రాయకూడదు అని అసలు వ్రాయడమే మానేసినారు! ఉదా: లినక్సు అనువాదాలు (ఒక్కటి కూడా పూర్తి కాలేదు )

Is "kagithamu"=webpage? pls think it once, even very few people rarely use "jaabu" for posts...How would it be for us to bring out some standards in this true translations into telugu publicly, so that, people wont get confused of the great old language of ours.

I mean that we would publish a pdf that will serve as a guide for such kind of critical translations...it wud serve all the telugu pople who use their PCs.

If you have used the softwares from ILDC. I found that, it was not made so diligently. They just tried without serious ness.
